Our Service to You
We will meet with you if you require guidance in the planning of a funeral and give advice on the options that are available. A private room is available to discuss your needs. Please make an appointment by contacting the Crematorium Office.
We will provide a wide choice of music to be played at the funeral service, using the Wesley Music System. The General Library on the system holds over 4,500 tracks of popular and classical music and songs. The Hymns Library holds over 600 tracks covering most service hymns, some with choir backing. If your choice of music is not in the library, but is commercially available and given 72 hours notice; we will make every effort to obtain it from Wesley Music on your behalf. WEBCASTS/DVD's:- These are now available for families who are unable to attend a service, and have to be pre-ordered either from a Funeral Director or direct through the Crematorium Administration Office on 020 8894 9001 or enquiries@swmcrematorium.gov.uk. These are currently priced at £60.00 each.
We will maintain the organs in the Ogden and Jamieson Chapels and provide the services of an organist if this is required. There will be an extra charge for this service.
The chapels at the Crematorium are non-denominational and we will meet the needs of individual faiths as required, including the display of symbols as appropriate.
Our current cremation charges as of 1st January, 2012 are:-
Monday - Friday £490.00 - 30 minute service
Saturday £790.00 - 30 minute service
Additional Chapel Hire £135.00 - 30 minutes
Memorial Service Chapel Hire £200.00 - 30 minutes
We have a dedicated waiting room should you arrive early for the service.
There is a dedicated meeting room for discussing service arrangements.
