Crematorium Refurbishment

Posted on 16 May 2018

The Board of the South West Middlesex Crematorium has been planning to add additional toilets and a waiting room to the Crematorium for some years and it is finally coming to fruition. The project is starting in May, 2018 and will involve the building of a welfare block – which will contain much needed additional toilet facilities and a large waiting room – and improvements to the roadways and widening of the public footpaths from the main entrance.

The total duration of the project will be 30 weeks.

The second phase of the refurbishment of the main building to include the Jamieson and Haigh Chapels and memorial hall will now commence in Spring 2019 and we apologise for the condition of these parts of the building while awaiting the works to commence.
